This workshop is a three day intensive course for men and women to grow in understanding and ability in Bible teaching. The lessons will explain the function and purpose of Bible teaching. Students will learn how to outline a lesson, how to use illustrations, how to speak confidently and project their voice. It will be a mix of lessons and practical activities throughout the three-days to help students grow in skills and confidence.

This workshop is open to men and women who want to learn how to teach the Bible. The lessons will be informative and helpful whether you are a regular preacher at a congregation, or you simply want to learn how to teach someone one-on-one, or you want to lead a kids class one day.

Yes, children are welcome to attend. However, there will not be any specific programs or classes for teachers through the workshop. The content is pitched at adults, so it will be challenging for children to follow along. If you need to bring children, please understand that you will be responsible for them through the duration of the workshop.

The workshop is being hosted by the Gipps St Church of Christ in Toowoomba, Queensland. It will be held at the church building: 52 Gipps St, Toowoomba.

The Gipps St congregation will provide meals throughout the three days (Thursday-Saturday). There will be morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, plus tea and coffee and other drinks available. If you have specific dietary requirements, just let us know in your registration and we will try to accommodate as best we can.

That's ok! Just attend as much as you are able. When you register, just select which days you plan to attend. Ideally, the workshop is meant to be attended in full. So you may miss some helpful parts. But even if you come just for one day it will be beneficial.
